Celine Augla

Foreign Director of Indonesia

Celine Augla is a 5th year medical student at Universitas Sumatera Utara, currently doing her clinical rotations. Earlier this year, she finished her Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, earning a cum laude predicate upon her graduation.


Celine has been divulging in youth movements since her early years of high school. She was enrolled as a member of Southeast Asian Leadership Network (SEALNet) and was awarded for her contributions. Upon entering university, she became a member of SCORE-PEMA, an organization focusing on doing research. During her time serving in the organization, she was appointed as the person in charge of the National Scientific Event held by her medical school. She received a certificate of traineeship issued by the Laboratory of Immunology and Immunogenetics Research Unit of University of Sousse during her time participating in a research exchange program in Tunisia. In addition, she was awarded a scholarship to attend a summer program focusing on the efficacy of traditional medicines in treating tropical diseases.

She is also registered as a member of Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace (SCORP-CIMSA), and in 2019, she officially became CIMSA’s Humanitarian Response Team (CHRT), since then, she has been committed to promote Human Rights and Peace, focusing on empowering and improving the health of refugees and other vulnerable people.


In one of her recent activities, she volunteered to work in the Telemedicine COVID-19 program held by the government in order to provide easier access to healthcare for her community.
